A machine that produces high-resolution paper, polyester, or aluminum plates to be used in printing.

plastic comb binding

Abbreviation for Picture Element. The tiniest dot that can be seen on a computer screen. The more pixels per inch, the higher the resolution of the image.

pigment

Made up of tiny, microscopic particles, pigment gives ink its color and opacity. In common black ink used for printing, the pigment consists of carbon black–basically soot.

picture books

pica

1 pica = 1/6 inch = 12 points.

peripheral
